ASCENDtials is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering holistic educational tools, resources, and training programs aimed at uplifting San Diego's BIPOC community.
ASCENDtials has adopted nine highways and actively restores several beaches — working alongside CalTrans, Sweetwater Park, and partner organizations to clean up the world.
Holistic wellness practices rooted in Kemetic Yoga and mindful living for BIPOC communities.
Literacy workshops, civic engagement, and our Designing from Whiteness to Oneness™ curriculum.
Multiple programs uniting people of all backgrounds. Our Farmers' Markets celebrate diverse cultures and give BIPOC businesses the opportunity to connect and thrive within their communities.

We host programs and events that teach, engage, and create change. Learn something new at one of our literacy workshops, buy locally grown produce and handmade crafts at our Farmers' Markets, or help us reduce environmental pollution at one of our highway clean-ups.

Learn More →At ASCENDtials, we recognize that the current education system fails to equip individuals with the critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed to overcome systemic issues of racism and inequality. Our unique curriculum, Designing from Whiteness to Oneness™, shifts the focus toward empowering Black communities through dialogue and discussion.
ASCENDtials is actively seeking volunteers, partners, and community members who believe in the power of collective action.
